PIA Launches Recruitment Drive to Address Pilot and Air Hostess Shortages

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has initiated a recruitment campaign to address the growing shortage of pilots and air hostesses within the national carrier.

In an official announcement, PIA confirmed its decision to hire 20 pilots and 40 air hostesses in order to ensure seamless flight operations and improve passenger service quality. The recruitment drive includes both captain and first officer positions, for which a dedicated advertisement has already been published.

For the captain positions, applicants must be under the age of 50, while first officer candidates must be under 40 years old. The airline is seeking experienced professionals to bolster its cockpit crew and enhance operational efficiency.

In addition to pilots, PIA is also looking to recruit 40 air hostesses. For new candidates, the maximum age limit is 25 years, while experienced air hostesses can apply up to the age of 30. All applicants must have at least a graduation degree.

The recruitment campaign has been widely publicized across various platforms as part of PIA’s strategy to attract qualified and motivated individuals to join its workforce and contribute to the airline’s growth and success.
