ISLAMABAD: The crucial phase of pilgrims’ return has commenced, with the first flight from the Holy Land arriving in Islamabad.
According to the airport manager, Aftab Gilani, Pakistan International Airlines flight PK 732 from Jeddah has reached Islamabad.
On this occasion, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Additional Director and Director of Hajj at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, along with the airport manager, warmly welcomed the pilgrims. They described all arrangements as fully in place for the returning pilgrims.
The post-Hajj operation is expected to continue until July 10, during which flights from Medina to Islamabad will also resume after one week. Aftab Gilani stated that over 30,000 pilgrims are expected to return home within this one-month period.
All arrangements have been completed at Islamabad International Airport to ensure that this important phase of the pilgrims’ return is smooth and safe.
