ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mohammed Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident of girl burnt alive over Jirga decision in Abbottabad, while he has declared the honor killing unacceptable.
In a condemning statement released from Prime Minister House, PM Nawaz has declared the girl ablazed alive incident as regrettable and urged for the measure to prevent such incidents. Prime Minister said that honor killing is a brutal act.
It must be recalled that last week a girl was burnt alive after decided by local Jirga in Abbottabad. Ambreen was charged for cooperating in escape of her friend for love marriage.
