ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday expressed his concern over the increase in salaries and other amenities of the members of Punjab Assembly.
PM Imran took to Twitter and expressed his concerns over the increase in salaries and amenities of Punjab’s lawmakers.
He wrote on his timeline; “I am extremely disappointed by the decision of Punjab Assembly to raise pays & privileges of MPAs, Ministers & esp CM.”

“Once prosperity returns to Pakistan such a move could be justified, but now, when we do not have resources to provide basic amenities to all our people, this is untenable,” he added.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Punjab Chief MiniUsmanUsamn Buzdar raised the amenities and salaries of the members of Punjab Assembly (MPAs) on Wednesday.
