ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the explosion in Sarai Naurang bazaar in Lakki Marwat that claimed the lives of seven people, including two traffic police officials.
Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, the prime minister said terrorists would not be allowed to sabotage the country’s peace and progress. He reaffirmed the government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism with full determination and coordination among all relevant institutions.
The premier paid tribute to the sacrifices made by law enforcement agencies and citizens in the fight against terrorism, describing their contributions as invaluable.
He also directed authorities to carry out an immediate investigation into the blast and ensure that those responsible are identified and brought to justice.
