LAHORE: India is facing setbacks on multiple fronts, as police shot down an Indian drone in the Walton Road area of Lahore.
According to police sources, there were reports of two drone attacks in the Walton area of Lahore.
Police officials stated that an explosion was heard in Walton Road, and similar sounds were also heard in Gopal Nagar, Nisarabad, and other nearby areas. Residents came out of their homes after hearing the blasts.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing 2 to 3 explosions in Walton Road. The police are investigating the nature of the blasts, but initial reports suggest that there were two drone attacks in Walton.
Meanwhile, police also mentioned that a drone fell near Dhaman area in Chakwal, close to Diwaliyan. No casualties have been reported so far.
The police have seized the drone debris and have begun investigations. Law enforcement officials have also reached the scene to assess the situation.
