ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has given his approval to a series of recommendations forwarded by the Prime Minister. These approvals encompass military honors for 1,172 members of the Armed Forces and Civil Armed Forces, national awards recognizing distinguished contributions across various civilian sectors, and a special remission of 100 days in the sentences of eligible inmates in celebration of Independence Day and Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW).
Additionally, the President authorized the convening of sessions for the National Assembly and the Senate, scheduled to take place on Monday.
