According to reports, the vehicle was carrying ten passengers, comprising women and children. Emergency services, including Rescue 1122, arrived promptly at the scene, where they transported four critically injured individuals to Central Hospital in Saidu Sharif. Three children were also taken to Manglore Hospital for treatment.
This tragic event follows a previous fatal accident in June 2026, when a collision between a passenger bus and a car in Swat’s Gogdara area resulted in three deaths. Police investigations indicated that overspeeding was a contributing factor in that incident, and the bodies of the victims were taken to Saidu Hospital for post-mortem examinations.
