Islamabad: The Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman has said that President objection on the seminaries bill is unconstitutional adding that for seminaries of space don’t disturb the real seminaries system.
Addressing the National Assembly (NA) session today, he said that are we not an independent nation? if not then clearly said that we are slaves.
Keeping his stand on seminaries bill firm, he said that we will not accept any amendment if you were not conducted registration the seminaries will be alive.
He said that in the US congress a resolution was presented in the favor of the founding chairman of the PTI Imran Khan and you brought a reactionary resolution in the NA.
He said that it is mindset of bureaucracy and establishment not to accept the curriculum of the seminaries.
He said that if joint session were called then it will be constitutional violation. While he questioned that the law has formed they why were gazetted notification not being issued.
He said that if the President were not sign the bill within 10 days then law enacted.
He apprised that former president Arif Alvi once not signed the bill and it had become the act.
