BEIJING: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday met Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of World Bank Kristalina Georgieva in Beijing.
During the meeting, development projects which are underway as well as those which are part of future plans backed by World Bank’s financial aid came under consideration.
On this occasion, Premier was accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Advisor on Finance Hafeez Sheikh and Advisor for Trade and Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Imran Khan reached Chinese capital on a four-day historic visit on the invitation of President Xi Jinping.
Premier attended the 2nd Belt and Road Forum and delivered a keynote speech in the opening ceremony of the Forum.
