Lahore: Home Minister Punjab Hashim Dogar Sunday said that an inquiry of May 25 torture on PTI leaders and workers has been completed while within 24 hours show-cause notices will be issued to involved officers.
The provincial Home Minister apprised that the PTI chief Imran Khan has directed to take action against the officers involved in the torture on the PTI leaders and workers.
Hashim Dogar also informed that the report of the probe has been presented to Chief Minister Pervez Elahi, while the show-cause notices will be issued to officers found responsible for the torture.
He said that officers and employees get punishments adding that no concession will be given to any one on any intercession adding that no will be going to suffer while justice will be ensured.
The Minister also said that all the ‘gulloobutts’ will be kicked out from the police force.
