Prominent Islamic scholar maulana Syed Salman Hussaini Nadvi passes away

LUKHNOW: Renowned Islamic scholar, author, and orator Maulana Syed Salman Hussaini Nadvi has passed away at the age of 72 in Lucknow. The news of his demise was announced on his official Facebook page, which stated that his funeral prayer and burial would take place after Asr prayer at Jamia Syed Ahmed Shaheed Katoli Malihabad.

Maulana Syed Salman Hussaini Nadvi was a distinguished faculty member at the famous Islamic seminary Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama in India. His contributions to religious, educational, intellectual, and international scholarly circles were highly regarded and held in great esteem.

His passing has been mourned by scholars, religious institutions, and social figures across Pakistan, India, and around the world, expressing deep sorrow and grief.

Maulana Nadvi was proficient in Arabic, Urdu, and English. He authored numerous books and research articles on topics including Seerah (Prophetic biography), Hadith, Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Dawah, Islamic thought, and contemporary issues. Alongside his scholarly work, he was also active in promoting interfaith harmony and dialogue.
