KARACHI: Following US President Donald Trump’s announcement to temporarily halt the attack on Iran, positive momentum is being observed in the Pakistan Stock Exchange today.
On the second day of the trading week, the Pakistan Stock Exchange experienced a strong rally, with the 100 Index increasing by 2,248 points so far.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s 100 Index is currently at 164,053 points.
Meanwhile, the interbank dollar rate has decreased by 3 paise to 278.57 rupees, after closing at 278.60 rupees yesterday.
It is worth noting that US President Donald Trump announced the postponement of the planned attack on Iran until Tuesday, following requests from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. He stated that Iran now has an excellent opportunity to reach a deal.
