Islamabad: Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday its charter of demands before the government talks committee which included establishment of two judicial commissions on May 9, 2023 and November 26 2024.
A talks between the government and PTI resumed today which was third round of talks in the facilitation of Speaker National Assembly (NA) Ayaz Sadiq.
The PTI has given a one week time for taking decision in the given time frame while the release of the PTI founding chairman not included in the demand directly.
The PTI charter of demand comprised a two points and three pages while the Opposition leader in the NA presented the draft of the charter before Speaker NA Ayaz Saddiq.
The opposition leader read written draft of charter of demand in the committee meeting. As per the content of the draft the PTI also demanded release of its political leaders and activists.
As per the content of the draft, the PTI has demanded formation of the commission under commission of inquiry act 2017 while the content reads that the government form two separate commission.
The both the commissions be formed in the chair of Supreme Court (SC) Chief Justice or comprising three serving judges of the SC, the content reads.
The government be established the judicial commission within seven days while the commissions proceedings be opened for media and masses.
