A 5.8 magnitude quake rattled many districts of Khyber Pakhtwankhwa including Peshawar.

According to seismic monitoring center the shocks were felt in Peshawar and many other districts of KPK including Swat, Chitral, and Dir.

The shocks forced the people to flee their abodse for safety reciting Kalma-e-Tayyeba.

According to seismic monitoring center the epicenter of the quake was the border area of Afghanistan and Tajikistan and it was 116 kilometer deep.

According to rescue sources no loss of life or financial loses is reported.
