Karachi (September 15, 2017): The Rangers have arrested prominent figure of Lashkar-e-Balochistan (LB) , who was indulged in various target killing and terrorist activities in Balochistan, from Karachi. on Friday.
According to press release issued by the Rangers said that the Rangers raid on an intelligence tip off and arrested Lashker-e-Balochistan prominent commando Moheem Khan and recovered, illegal arms, ammunition and explosive materials from his possession.
“Accused was involved grenade attack on vehicle of department of irrigation near Hub post in 2014, targeted electricity transformers by using remote control bombs near Attock Cement Factory in 2014, 15 and 2016. He had also attacked government’s under constructed building by hand grenade in 2015 in Hub areas,” it said.
It also said that in the same year the accused had set ablaze the school van of Hamdard University, in July 2016 he attacked the electricity transformer in Sakran. In August 2016 he had targeted police van through hand grenade attack in Galaxy near Hub that resultant of injuries of two police personnel.
In May and June 2017, he attacked the transformers and gas pipelines using Improvised Explosive Device (IEDs).
