Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has said that the role of aviation cannot be forgotten for the promotion of national economy, tourism and public relations.
In a message on World Aviation Day, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that aviation has turned the world into a global village, distances have narrowed.
Maryam said, she pays tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for bringing aviation and PIA back to their lost position, due to the prudent efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, PIA was allowed to operate flights in Europe.
Government is determined to provide modern air travel facilities, the proposal of establishing a Punjab airline is also being reviewed, said Maryam
