Islamabad (September 9, 2017): The leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Saeed Ghani assailed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for maintaining double standard regarding cases against the political parties.
“NAB conduct with PPP and PML-N different as if case against PPP leader arrest made immediately but when case against PML-N neither arrest and nor name place on ECL,” Saeed Ghani hurled allegations during a press conference in Islamabad.
He alleged that PPP leader Sharjeel Memon name was place in ECL despite no inquiry being conducted against him while the name of any member of Sharif family was not put in ECL despite inquiry has been completed and reference field against them.
He challenged if NAB work as per law then will have to make arrest of any member of Sharif family. He went on saying that NAB could not find any evidence of corrupting against Asif Ali Zardari and even will not get in future s well.
Commenting over IG Sindh AD Khawaja issue, Ghani said that it was not court’s powers to curtail Chief Minister powers as courts should not decide who will be IG or not.
