LONDON: Pakistani batter Saim Ayub has completed his first check-up in London.
Saim Ayub sustained an injury during the Cape Town Test against South Africa, and initial reports indicated that he had suffered a fracture in his ankle.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had decided to send him to London for the best possible treatment.
Yesterday, Saim arrived in London with Azhar Mahmood, and today he was examined by Dr. Lucky Giasellen, a specialist in ankle issues.
Another check-up for Saim Ayub is scheduled for tomorrow morning in London.
Based on the reports and advice from British doctors, further treatment for Saim Ayub will be determined, and his inclusion in the Champions Trophy provisional squad will depend on the recommendations of the British medical team.
