RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has imposed temporary visa ban on 14 countries, including Pakistan, under the Hajj season regulations.
According to sources, the ban will apply to Umrah, business, and family visas, and is expected to end by mid-June.
Diplomatic sources stated that Umrah visa holders can enter Saudi Arabia until April 13.
The list of countries affected by the ban includes Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Nigeria, Jordan, Algeria, Sudan, Ethiopia, Tunisia, and Yemen.
Sources further mentioned that despite the ban, individuals staying in Saudi Arabia could face a five-year entry restriction.
