RIYADH: Eid-ul-Fitr 2019 will be celebrated in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday (today) as Shawwal 1440 moon has been sighted in the Saudi Kingdom.
Indonesia has announced that Tuesday will be the last day of Ramadan and that Eid Al Fitr will be on Wednesday, June 5.
The moon sighting committee in Japan and Malaysia also announced that the first day of Eid Al Fitr is on Wednesday.
UAE declared Tuesday, June 4, as the first day of Shawwal 1440 Hijri, marking the beginning of Eid ul Fitr.
