Islamabad: Supreme Court on Tuesday called a detailed report from the Ministry of law regarding establishment of accountability court in the country.
The SC has called the report in the bail petition of the fake account case accused Talha Raza. The counsel of the accused apprised the court the top court that on the court orders the report from an accountability court has come adding that out of 35 references our reference bears number 25 while the accused has been imprisoned for two years. He further added that the case has 22 volumes of documents.
At the occasion, the prosecutor NAB Imran Ul Haq informed the court that the ministry of law has issued notification of establishment of three accountability courts after appointment of judges hearings will be started soon.
Justice Musher Alam said that we call from the ministry of law a report regarding new judges and staff. The court also directed the secretary law to appear before the court as a personal capacity along with the report in the next hearing.
The SC prorogued the hearing for 10 days.
