LAHORE: The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court has approved a scheme to provide official vehicles to judicial officers in Punjab at subsidized rates.
According to a circular, under the Transport Monetization Facility, approximately 2,000 judicial officers across Punjab will be able to purchase government-owned vehicles at discounted prices ranging from PKR 250,000 to PKR 350,000.
This scheme will benefit District and Sessions Judges, Additional District and Sessions Judges, Senior Civil Judges, Civil Judges, and Family Court judges.
Judges serving in Anti-Terrorism, Accountability, Banking, FIA, Narcotics Control, Customs, and Labour Courts will also be eligible to avail of this facility.
Additionally, judicial officers on deputation to the Supreme Court, Islamabad High Court, Constitutional Court, and other institutions in Punjab will be able to benefit from this scheme.
