Second Test: England scores 98/1 runs, takes lead on Pakistan by 489 runs

England has scored 98 runs with a loss of a wicket at the end of third day in Second Test match, while the English team has taken lead of 489 runs against Pakistan, while Alastair Cook scored 49, whereas Joe Root scored 23 runs, Pakistani bowler Mohammed Amir took one wicket.

In response to 589 runs of England in second Test, the whole team of Pakistan got out scoring 198 runs in first inning, while Captain decided not to let Pakistan follow-on and opted to bat. England, while batting in second inning, cored 98 runs at the end of third day, while Captain Alastair Cook and Alex Heels entered into the ground for second batting inning and provided the team an addition of 68 runs in the beginning. Pakistani bowler Mohammed Amir took out Heels on 24 runs.

Earlier, Pakistani Captain Misbah-ul-Haq and Shan Masood started the first inning on third day from 57/4 runs. Shan Masood got out at 39 runs, after which no Pakistani batsman could face English team’s destructive bowling and Asad Shafiq could score 4, Vice Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed 26, Yasir Shah 1, Misbah-ul-Haq 52 and Wahab Riaz got out scoring 9 runs.

Meanwhile, English bowler Vox took 4 wickets, Moin Ali and Stocks 2 wickets each, while Anderson and Board took one wicket each. English Captain decided not to let Pakistan follow-on in inning.
