KARACHI: The Sindh High Court on Thursday has summoned the detail record of the mission persons, their travel and detention centres from intelligence agencies.
The justice Naimutllah Phulphuto remarked, during the hearing of the missing person’s case, that unluckily, police has failed to detect missing persons as their families were knocking the doors of the courts but police officers were not ready to show any kind of sympathy towards them.
The judge said, “Investigative officer Aftab Alam should have been sent to jail for not implementing the orders of the court.”
As the investigative officer requested for the time in this connection, the judge becomes enraged and said, “Don’t become merciless and accelerate efforts to recover missing persons.”
“Don’t forget court can issue orders against tasks force and other agencies,” judge remarked.
Court summoned heads of JITs, Taskforce and director FIA and also ordered police, Rangers and interior department of Sindh to submit detail report on this regard in the next hearing.
