Karachi: Sindh cabinet on Thursday approved procurement of double decker buses and more electrical buses.
Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon holding a presser after the provincial cabinet meeting apprised that the cabinet has decided to make anti-narcotics automated .
The Minister said that transport department is going to give free electric scooters to women adding those women having two wheeler licenses will be given scooter.
He informed that every month through a draw scooters will be given to women. Whereas students, employed women will be eligible for getting the scooters.
Sharjeel Memon said that Zombies are emerging owing to the drugs in the society.He said that parents have a crucial role to play to stop youth for using drugs.
He said that he has warned of incidents like Mustafa murder case for year adding that it is regretful that a son of an actor arrested in the drug case.
He further went on to say that Akash Ansari was murdered in Hyderabad and his son confessed the crime.
” Politics, employment and other things will continue.” he said. We must have to stop drugs first, he added.
He reminded that Prime Minister had promised to provide 180 electric buses to Sindh, he reminded.
He urged the PM to give 180 electrical buses fulfilling his promise adding that the central government didn’t give funds for purchase of the buses.
He questioned the journalists were you taken Farooq Sattar seriously? while he claimed there is no existence of him and his party adding that the people judged Farooq Sattar with every way.
Sindh Cabinet has approved the laying of a transmission line to Dhabeji as part of the K-IV project. Additionally, the cabinet has also approved the expansion of Keenjhar.
