ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami has demanded to give shares to Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan from China Pakistan Economic Corridor and NFC Award, while Siraj-ul-Haq said that first enemy’s conspiracies to foil CPEC project must be eliminated.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq said that Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir is extremely important for Pakistan. He urged the rulers to add people of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan in policies. He said that there is insurgency in country due to wrong policies of government. Situation is worse in Karachi, Baluchistan, FATA and KPK, while the peaceful areas are being pushed towards insurgency.
Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami said that Azad Kashmir must be added in CPEC and concerns of Gilgit Baltistan must be removed. Besides, the power must be handed over to people after holding Local Bodies elections in those areas.
