The Speaker National Assembly (NA) Ayyaz Sadiq has rejected Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed reference for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif disqualification over not having enough evidences.
The speaker has informed his decision to the AML chief. In his decision, the speaker remarked that evidences and facts provided by the AML chief Shaikh Rasheed for the PM’s disqualification are not enough and henceforth, for the reason, the reference cannot be bring into under consideration.
It is pertinent to mention here that the AML chief making violation of article 63 of the constitution as base for the premier disqualification had filed the reference.
The reference had demanded to declare the PM disqualified within a month and to end his NA membership .
The AML chief’s reference had contended that the PM Nawaz Sharif has as many as 9 off shore companies which have not been declared in his assets details submitted in Election Commission of Pakistan.
