KARACHI: On the fourth day of the week, the Pakistan stock exchange made history as the index reached its highest level ever.
On Thursday, right at the start of trading, there was an incredible increase of 1,676 points in the 100-index, pushing the index to 126,028 points, setting a new record.
The previous day, the index crossed the 124,000 mark and closed at 124,353 points by the end of the trading day.
Meanwhile, in the interbank market, the value of the dollar decreased by 7 paisa, bringing the dollar price down to 282.40 rupees. This decline continues the trend of stability in the rupee’s value.
