Pakistan’s most celebrated philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi has lost his breath due to kidney failure and his funeral prayer will be held tomorrow after zuhar prayer at National Stadium Karachi.
Abdul Sattar Edhi, 88 , was seriously ill far several months and was shifted to SIUT in critical condition and later put in ventilator but has could not survived.
According to son of Abdul Sattar Edhi ” He wished to be buried in the Edhi village, in those cloths which he wear at last breath of life. He also wanted to donate his body parts.
Abdul Sattar Edhi was born in Gujarat and arrived Pakistan 1947 after Indo-Pak Partition. He established Edhi Foundation at age of 13 in 1951. He received many award for their charity works . Abdul Sattar Edhi several times nominated for Nobel Prize of Peace.
