KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange opened on a positive note today.
On the fourth trading day of the week, the stock market witnessed a significant surge at the start of the session, with an increase of over 1,800 points. The KSE-100 Index reached close to 111,881 points.
It is noteworthy that at the end of the previous trading day, the stock market’s KSE-100 Index had closed down by 3,559 points at 110,009 points.

On the other hand, Indian stock market remained resilient after India’s Operation Sindoor as both the benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 opened in the green on Thursday (May 8). The BSE Sensex index opened in the green at 80,912.34 against the previous close of 80,747.78.
