MASHKEL: In Balochistan’s Washuk district, armed assailants opened fire in the Mashkel area, resulting in the deaths of five individuals.
According to police reports, the gunmen targeted laborers working at a shop. The victims were all from outside the province.
The police have stated that after necessary investigations, the bodies of the deceased are being sent to their respective hometowns. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
Meanwhile, Shahid Rind, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Balochistan, condemned the attack, stating that the firing in Mashkel which resulted in the deaths of five people is highly reprehensible.
He added that the government has taken notice of the incident and has ordered an investigation. He emphasized that those involved in the killing of innocent civilians will not escape justice. The government also expressed solidarity with the affected families during this difficult time.
