RAWALPINDI: A disturbing case has emerged from Rawalpindi where a nine-year-old student at a madrasa reportedly died following brutal treatment by his teacher in Kallar Syedan. Authorities confirm that the child’s body showed signs of severe physical trauma.
The victim, named Faizan, was the son of Sultan. Police reports indicate that Faizan’s body was found with multiple bruises and injuries consistent with violent assault. The incident reportedly took place inside the madrasa premises under the jurisdiction of Kallar Syedan police station.
According to law enforcement sources, the madrasa administration initially attempted to hide the incident by washing the child’s body after his death. The truth came to light when Faizan’s family noticed the visible injuries and alerted the police.
Police responded swiftly, detaining two individuals in connection with the case. The child’s remains were taken to a hospital for a post-mortem examination, which aims to clarify the cause of death and provide further details about the injuries sustained.
A case has been filed against three suspects, including Qari Sanaullah, who fled the scene. Two suspects are in custody, and authorities are actively investigating the matter. The child’s family received his body following the post-mortem.
In a related development, police have detained Faisal Asghar in connection with the murder of Hina Javed, whose body was discovered in Rawalpindi. The incident occurred at Askari Apartments in the Lalkurti neighborhood, under the jurisdiction of Civil Lines Police Station.
Hina’s brother filed an FIR, stating that her body was found in her bathroom with her hands tied behind her back, a cloth stuffed in her mouth, and a wire around her neck. Zeeshan, the household worker, has also been taken into custody.
Hina married Faisal Asghar, the son of retired Colonel Asghar Fayyaz, in November 2025. The police investigation continues as they seek to uncover the full circumstances surrounding her murder.
