ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaiser and Deputy Speaker Qasim Shah Suri have congratulated masses of tribal districts and security forces over holding of successful provincial elections.
Speaker NA Asad Qaiser has declared the holding of elections in erstwhile FATA for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly as a victory of the democracy.
Asad Qaiser said that the holding of successful elections in FATA reflective of people of tribal areas deep belonging to peace and democracy adding that people of FATA rendered sacrifices in the fight against terrorism the most.
He said that besides masses, security forces personnel also sacrificed their lives to free tribal areas from the menace of terrorism.
The speaker said that the incumbent PTI-government played an active role to give rights of people of the FATA while as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan the special measures will be taken for the development of the FATA on the preferential basis.
Deputy Speaker NA, Qasim Khan Suri said that now representatives of FATA will represent their rights in a right manner.
