Multan (October 5, 2017): At least two terrorists were killed in a shootout with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Multan in the wee hours of Thursday.
According to the details, CTD officials on a tip-off carried out a raid in Sher Shah area of Multan in the wee hours of Thursday.

Four to five suspected terrorists were hiding in a compound in the area who, opened fire on the police after they were asked to surrender.
CTD officials said that two terrorists were killed in the shootout, whereas three of their accomplices managed to escape.
Three hand grenades, weapons and other explosive material were recovered from their possession. Rescue officials shifted the bodied to the hospital. Sources said the terrorists were affiliated with a banned outfit.
