United State deport more illegal immigrants amid crackdown

WEB DESK: The United States is set to deport another group of undocumented Pakistani immigrants as part of its ongoing immigration crackdown, with a special American aircraft carrying eight individuals scheduled to arrive in Pakistan next week.

According to the Pakistani Embassy in the US, the deportees include Rehman, Saleem, Nawaz, Salman, Azeem, Khan, and Khalid Masih.

Of these, six individuals are being sent back solely for immigration violations, while two have criminal records linked to serious offences.

Two individuals on the deportation list were found guilty of serious crimes, including rape and drug-related offences.

The deportation flight will land at Noor Khan Airbase in Islamabad, where FIA officials and security personnel will conduct verification and screening procedures before processing the returnees.

Separately, authorities confirmed the recent deportation of 56-year-old Syed Rizvi, a Pakistani national who had been living illegally in Dallas, Texas, since 2017. Rizvi was arrested by the FBI on January 31 and deported on February 25 after being found in violation of US immigration laws. His photograph and details were shared with Pakistani authorities for record-keeping.

An FIA official stated that all deportees will be closely monitored, distinguishing between those with criminal backgrounds and those removed for residency violations.

“Upon arrival, deportees will be screened for any pending legal cases, questioned about their stay in the US, and assisted in reintegration if they are not involved in criminal activities,” the official added.
