ISLAMABAD: Indian lobby’s all attempts have failed regarding US selling F-16 jets, as US Congress has approved to sell jets to Pakistan, while Foreign Ministry Adviser Sartaj Aziz has said that US is leveling allegations of supporting Haqqani Network after expressing reservations over Pakistan’s nuclear program.
During a policy statement regarding F-16 jets in Senate, Sartaj Aziz admitted that there has been a cold wave between Pakistan and US relations during past three months, while the reasons included demands of Shakeel Afridi’s release and supporting Haqqani network, which is unacceptable.
He said that election trend is overwhelming in United States, therefore Pakistan is in the range of allegations. Sartaj said that all conspiracy attempts of Indian lobby regarding F-16 sell to Pakistan have gone in vain and US Defence secretary admitted our stance and US Congress has approved to sell jets to Pakistan.
