LAHORE: The World Bank has praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for high-quality initiatives in education, health, social welfare and inclusive public service delivery.
The appreciation was expressed during a meeting between Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb with representatives of the World Bank in Lahore on Friday.
During the meeting, it was agreed to accelerate the pace of work on a 10-year joint development plan between the Punjab Government and the World Bank.
The meeting also discussed proposals for funding in projects related to education and healthcare sector.
