RAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmad Sharif announced on Wednesday that Indian aggression resulted in the martyrdom of 31 innocent Pakistani civilians and injuries to 57 others.
The military spokesperson provided an update on the recent escalation along the Line of Control (LoC).
He emphasized that, the increased casualties are a direct consequence of India’s ongoing ceasefire violations and unprovoked firing across the border. Lt Gen Ahmad Sharif condemned India’s actions, criticizing the targeting of civilians and populated areas through air strikes conducted last night in Pakistan.
“Simply condemning India’s strikes is insufficient. The attacks on May 6 and 7 reveal India’s true nature—weak and frightened—resorting to cowardly tactics by striking civilian areas at night instead of engaging our armed forces directly,” DG ISPR
