Will bring the war with India to a logical conclusion, PM Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that, we will bring the war with India to a logical end.

Addressing the nation in Islamabad, Shehbaz Sharif stated that, last night, India committed a reckless mistake by initiating aggression, and now it will undoubtedly face the consequences. He mentioned that perhaps India believed we would back down, but they forgot that this is a brave nation, resilient and steel-hearted in its resolve.

He emphasized that, the nation’s sons, who have honed themselves on the battlefield, are fully prepared to fight to the last drop of blood to protect and honor their homeland.

The Prime Minister said that, the entire world saw last night how a numerically superior enemy was forced to kneel within a few hours. By the grace of Allah, our pilots (Shaheens) created such a storm in the air that the enemy was left crying out. Five of India’s fighter jets, once a source of their pride, are now reduced to ashes, debris, and lessons for the future.

Shehbaz Sharif described this as our formidable response, echoing the legendary Squadron Leader M.M. Alam, whose roar was heard again last night. Our Shaheens (pilots) struck such precise blows that time will never heal the wounds inflicted. Meanwhile, cowardly Indian attacks resulted in the martyrdom of 26 innocent civilians and injuries to 46 others, including children and women.

He shared that, he had just attended the funeral of a 7-year-old child, who was at home with his mother and brother when a spanner hit him, and he was taken to his Creator. He asked everyone to heartfully consider that this innocent flower was snatched away before even playing.

The Prime Minister paid tribute to the other great Pakistanis who have attained the high rank of martyrdom, and the entire nation stands with the families of these martyrs and prays for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Shehbaz Sharif further pledged that, every drop of blood of these martyrs would be accounted for. He condemned the cowardly enemy, who considers itself powerful after attacking unarmed civilians. But last night, Pakistan demonstrated that it knows how to give a decisive response in its defense.
