Rawalpindi: The district administration Rawalpindi has decided to open schools and educational institutes from November 19 after improving of smog situation.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Punjab Director General (DG) Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh has issued a notification in this regard.
According to the notification, schools and educational institutes in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jehlum and Chakwal will be opened as normal.
Teachers and students physical presence will be mandatory, the notification reads.
As per the notification, the EPA has given exception to Rawalpindi division for online mode and closure.
