ISLAMABAD: Interim bail has been extended in cases related to the November 26 protest against former Bushra Bibi and other leaders of Pakistan Tehreek -e -Insaf.
Interim bail of Bushra Bibi was extended till February 17 in the case registered in Ramna police station, Additional Sessions Judge Amir Zia heard the petition, while lawyer Ansar Kayani filed an application for immunity from the accused’s presence.
The lawyer took the stand that Bushara Bibi was arrested in a 190 million pound case and imprisoned in Central Jail Adiala, so Ramna police should be ordered to investigate them in jail. The court extended the interim bail and further proceedings.
Court extended the interim bail and adjourned further proceedings till February 17.
