WASHINGTON: U.S. President Donald Trump stated that, decision regarding Iran will be made soon.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced that, he anticipates making a swift decision regarding Iran, following “positive” and “constructive” discussions held in Oman. Both countries agreed to reconvene in the coming week, signaling a potential breakthrough in negotiations.
While aboard Air Force One, Trump noted that he had consulted with his advisers about the situation in Iran and expressed confidence in a rapid decision, though he refrained from providing specific details. “We’ll be making a decision on Iran very quickly,” he stated.
According to Axios, which cited two informed sources, the next round of nuclear negotiations between the United States and Iran is scheduled for the following Saturday in Rome. The recent talks in Oman marked the first direct engagement between Iran and the Trump administration since his initial term from 2017 to 2021. Officials described the discussions as taking place in a “productive, calm and positive atmosphere.”
During a brief statement to reporters, Trump characterized the talks as going “okay” but emphasized that results are what truly matter. “Nothing matters until you get it done, so I don’t like talking about it, but it’s going okay. The Iran situation is going pretty good, I think,” he remarked.
On the other hand, they also stated that no country will escape tariffs due to unfair trade balance.
Donald Trump mentioned that، particularly China will not be spared from tariffs, as they treat us the worst.
He said that، an announcement regarding tariffs on mobile phones will be made soon, but there will be some flexibility in it.
The US President further mentioned that، there will be some flexibility on semiconductor tariffs for certain companies, but it is still unclear.
He also stated that، the tariff rate on semiconductors will be announced next week.
