Senator Sherry Rahman’s X account restricted in India

WEB DESK: The ongoing crackdown on Pakistani social media accounts in India includes the blocking of Senator Sheri Rahman, a member of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and former Federal Minister for Information.

Following the Pakistan-India tensions, a ceasefire has been established, but the social media war by India continues. This intense ideological conflict has led to the blocking of Pakistani celebrities, cricket stars, various media outlets, and YouTube channels by India. Now, politicians are also being targeted.

Pakistan People’s Party Senator and former Federal Minister for Information, Sheri Rahman, stated that, the restriction on Pakistani social media accounts in India is aimed at silencing those who speak the truth.

She asserted that, the Indian government’s move is intended to hide the facts of the Pahalgam incident. She called for international condemnation of India’s actions.

She further said that, no matter what India does, it cannot escape the truth. India launched unjustified aggression after the Pahalgam attack, and Pakistan responded responsibly in defense.

The senior PPP leader warned that, if India attempts any further misadventures, Pakistan will respond effectively. Pakistan has always advocated for peace, but if its sovereignty is attacked again, a strong response will be given.
