Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has said that workers are our pride and every facility including education and healthcare will be provided to them.
Punjab Chief Minister has announced a landmark initiative to provide free higher education to the children of registered industrial and mines workers across the province.
On the directions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund has invited applications from workers in this regard.
According to details, under this remarkable initiative for laborers, the children of industrial and mines workers will receive free education in top educational institutions.
Disabled and deceased workers’ children will also be provided free education at NUST University.
Registered workers can submit applications at the Islamabad campus by July 9, Lahore campus by July 17, Wah Cantt and Abbottabad campuses by August 4, Vehari and Attock campuses by August 11 and Sahiwal campus by August 15.
