WEB DESK: At a summit held in Canada, the G7 countries have expressed their support for Israel.
According to a news agency, the G7 nations’ statement voiced support for Israel and held Iran responsible for regional instability.
In their joint declaration, the G7 countries emphasized the need to de-escalate widespread tensions in the Middle East, resolve the Iran crisis, and called for a ceasefire in Gaza.
The joint statement also underscored the importance of protecting civilians.
The G7 countries reiterated: “Our position has always been clear — Iran must not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons, and Israel has the right to defend itself. We reaffirm our support for Israel’s security.”
On the other hand, U.S. President Trump refused to sign the G7 countries’ joint declaration, which included an appeal to reduce tensions in the Israel-Iran conflict
