Pakistan Navy Honors Personnel with Prestigious Military Awards

KARACHI: In a distinguished ceremony, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf presented a series of military honors to commend Pakistan Navy personnel for their exemplary service.

The Pakistan Navy Investiture Ceremony 2025 took place at Bahria Auditorium in Karachi on Friday, showcasing the dedication and achievements of naval staff.

Recipients of the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) included senior officers such as Commodores Rashid Mahmood Sheikh, Tasawar Iqbal, Aamir Iqbal, Rashid Nazir, Zeeshan Shahid, Dr. Nadeem Kureshi, Dr. Tariq Mairaj Rasool Khan, Dr. Attaullah, Muhammad Umair, Shahid Wasif, Saqib Habib, Faisal Iqbal Qazi, and Captain Syed Atif Hussain Bukhari PN.

Those awarded the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) included Captains Naveed Ahmed PN, Commodores Imran Raza PN, Babar Ibne Saleem PN, Najeeb Ullah Khan Niazi PN, Rizwan Ullah PN, Surg Cdr Mohsin Raza Khan PN, Imtiaz Muhammad PN, Muhammad Anwer PN, Lieutenant Commanders Syed Noman Masood PN, Waleed Arif, and Muhammad Umar PN.

The Tamgha-i-Basalat (Military) was awarded to Commodores Munawar Ahmed Bhatti PN, Naeem Ahmed Khan PN, as well as Sadam Hussain PMT-I and Zain Ali PMT-II.

Additionally, 31 personnel received TK(M)-I awards, 53 received TK(M)-II, and 99 achieved TK(M)-III honors, recognizing their dedicated service as MCPOs, CPOs, and Sailors. Furthermore, 60 officers, senior enlisted personnel, and civilians were awarded Letters of Commendation from the Chief of Naval Staff for their meritorious contributions.

The event was attended by a large gathering of current and retired senior officers of the Pakistan Navy, underscoring the importance of recognizing excellence and dedication within the naval force.
