NEW MEXICO: Firing in New Mexico University, resulting atleast one dead and one injured
The university issued a statement indicating that the shooting took place at 3:30 AM. When campus police arrived at the scene, they found two individuals injured, one of whom succumbed to their injuries on-site.
At around 6 AM, the university issued another alert on social media, instructing students and staff to stay in a safe location. The statement said that multiple law enforcement agencies are present at the scene and an investigation is ongoing.
