Kohat:Seven members of the same family were killed and one person injured in a shooting late Saturday night in the Regi Shinokhel vrarea of Kohat, police and rescue officials said.
According to rescue authorities, the bodies and the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Kohat.
Those killed were identified as Abdul Samad, Sajid, Yousaf, Ashfaq, Mustafa, Hamza, and Yasir. The injured, Abdul Razaq, is under treatment at the hospital.
Police said all the victims belonged to Khara Gharhi Mohammadzai in Kohat.
Se A search operation has been launched in the area, and investigations are underway.
