PISHIN: The government of Baluchistan has decided to impose section 144 in Pishin amid security concerns.
According to a notification issued by the Baluchistan Home Department, the restrictions will remain in effect until November 20.
Under Section 144, a ban has been placed on displaying weapons, holding rallies, sit-ins, or gatherings of more than five people in the district. The administration said the step was taken to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure law and order.
Authorities have directed law enforcement agencies to strictly enforce the ban, warning that violators will face legal action under the relevant provisions of the law.
